Thirty-nine inmates of Negros District Jail in Bago City completed a Season long Training on Organic Vegetables Production recently. According to Negros Occidental provincial agriculturist Atty. Japhet Masculino, the training aims to provide the inmates with skills in cultivating organically-grown crops in a one-half hectare lot within the jail compound. The inmates were equipped on how to produce pesticide-free bellpepper and edible oyster mushroom during the training held from April to July this year.
